If you are located in the European Economic Area, we process your data under the following legal bases:

• Contract performance: Processing your wallet address, agent key, and trading activity is necessary to provide the Platform's services to you.
• Legitimate interest: Collecting usage data, error data, and device information to improve the Platform, monitor system health, and enforce geographic restrictions. We balance our interests against your privacy rights and only process data that is proportionate to these purposes.
• Legal obligation: Retaining certain data and enforcing restricted jurisdiction policies to comply with applicable sanctions and regulatory requirements.
• Consent: Where we use analytics cookies (PostHog), we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

5. Non-custodial architecture

Perpus is a non-custodial platform. We never take custody of your funds. All assets remain in your exchange account at all times. The agent key you authorize allows Perpus to place and cancel orders on your behalf — it does not permit withdrawals, deposits, or fund transfers. You can revoke this authorization at any time directly on the exchange.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Service providers: PostHog (analytics), Sentry (error tracking), Vercel (hosting), and cloud infrastructure providers, solely for operating the Platform.
• Legal compliance: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• On-chain data: Your wallet address and trading activity on supported exchanges are publicly visible on-chain by nature of the blockchain. This is not something we control.

Some of our service providers (PostHog, Sentry, Vercel) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including the use of EU Standard Contractual Clauses or transfers to countries with an adequate level of data protection as determined by the European Commission.

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of sensitive data at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security assessments.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active on the Platform. If you disconnect your wallet and do not return, we retain anonymized usage data for analytics purposes and delete personally identifiable information within 90 days.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you additionally have the right to:

The Platform uses local storage for session management and authentication tokens. We use PostHog for product analytics, which may set cookies to track usage patterns. We do not use advertising cookies or share data with advertising networks.

The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
